Schitt's Creek made history a few months ago when the series swept the Emmy awards in the comedy acting categories. This is the first time a television show had dominated the entire category. Annie Murphy, who plays the lovable Alexis Rose, was beyond exciting winning the Emmy for her ever nomination. Here are our five favorite Alexis moments.
3. Graduation Day
We loved Alexis' journey back to high school after it was revealed she never received her diploma. On her graduation day, Alexis worries that none of her family cares about her special day. Lucky for her, Moira makes a special appearance to congratulate her daughter on the achievement. The look on Alexis' face is priceless and had me crying happy tears.
2. The Break Up
Alexis and Ted were the cutest couple (behind David and Patrick of course) on Schitt's Creek. However, it was obvious that the two were not going to last when Ted left on his medical journey to the Galapagos. Ted makes a return and the two agree to end their relationship. Again, more tears albeit these were sad ones. We hope Alexis finds true happiness.
A Little Bit Alexis
By far, the greatest Alexis moment is when she is auditioning for Cabaret. Alexis hints a little more into her life before the series started. Apparently like the Kardashians, Ms. Rose had her own reality show and decided to sing the theme song. Add in a catchy dance numbers and you have one of the most hilarious scenes of Schitt's Creek.
