The Office: Top 5 Fan Favorite Episodes

The Office continues to be a welcomed addition to our pandemic life. In a world with little new television to watch, fans continue to have 9 seasons of this classic comedy to tune into every day. With so many classic episodes, it is sometimes hard to pick a favorite. We visited Internet Movie Database to see which episodes of The Office fans love the most. Here is the list. Did yours make the cut?

5. Dinner Party - Season 4

Season 4 was cut short due to the writer's strike, but fans were still treated to this hilarious episode. Unlike most episodes of The Office, a majority of this one takes place outside the walls of the Dunder Mifflin branch. Michael and Jan invite Jim, Pam, Andy, and Angela over for a couple's dinner. Dwight not wanting to be left out, shows up with his childhood babysitter as a date.

4. A.A.R.M - Season 9

We aren't entirely sure why this episode ranks so highly other than it does start to wrap up some character arcs. Darryl leaves Dunder Mifflin, Dwight is planning to propose to Angela, and Jim shows Pam a beautiful video of their relationship over the years. We truly can't stand Andy in this episode when he auditions for a singing competition.

3. Stress Relief, Season 5

The Office writers decided to bring in extra funny in this episode that aired after the Super Bowl. Dwight creates the fire drill from hell, which then causes Stanley to have a heart attack. The hijinks continue when a CPR trainer comes to the office and Dwight pulls a Hannibal Lecter move.

2. Goodbye, Michael - Season 7

In season 7, fans had to bid adieu to their favorite manager when Michael leaves Dunder Mifflin. He has found his true love Holly and goes back to Colorado with her so she can take care of her father. Michael doesn't tell the team he is leaving a day early, so he almost misses Pam. Luckily, she makes it to the airport just in time and the two share a lovely moment together.

  1. Finale - Season 9

The very last episode of The Office, is what the fans have reviewed as the best. Everyone has a happy ending: Jim and Pam move to Texas, Dwight and Angela get married, even Kelly and Ryan pop up to complete their love story. The icing on the cake is an appearance by Michael to be Dwight's best man.
