I don't think Alexis Rose would be saying, "Ew, David" about this news. Schitt's Creek has received fifteen Emmy nominations for the comedy series sixth and final season. Emmy nominations were announced earlier this morning.
Each of the four main actors (Eugene Levy, Catherine O'Hara, Dan Levy, and Annie Murphy) all received nominations in the Lead or Supporting categories. Additionally, the series also received a nomination for Outstanding Comedy Series.
Dan Levy took to Twitter to say: For once I am speechless. Levy was also nominated for writing and directing on the hilarious comedy. Annie Murphy announced the following, "Starting this show six years ago, we were isolated and didn't really realize when it started creeping into the states. To go from there to having the show and my fellow actors nominated, it's so wonderful."
Schitt's Creek aired its final episode in April 2020. You can watch that season on Hulu and Netflix later this year.
