Fans are getting excited for the return of Grey's Anatomy. The cast and crew have resumed filming so it will only be a few months before we get back to Grey Sloan Memorial Hospital. Over the years, many characters have left the show and we still aren't over it. Here is who we would like to see make another appearance on the series. Please note this list does not contain any characters that have died - only the ones that left still alive and well.
Alex Karev
Though Alex just left Grey's Anatomy at the end of last season, we still aren't over his abrupt departure. It would really shake things up if he came back to Seattle just as soon as Jo finally gets over losing him. We don't expect this to happen for a few more season and that if is the series stays on long enough for that to happen.
Cristina Yang
Cristina was Meredith's person, so it was heartbreaking with she left Seattle for greener pastures in Switzerland. the character is mentioned often through text conversations with Meredith, so why not have the real deal show up to cheer Meredith up after losing her other person when Alex left?
Callie Torres
It has been 4 years since Callie Torres has graced our screens. She decided to move to New York to live with her girlfriend. Now would be a perfect time for her to return to Seattle and start over. When she returns to Grey's Anatomy, we think it would be lovely and fitting if she brought...
Arizona Robbins
Arizona and Callie weren't necessarily together when Arizona chose to make a cross country move so Sofia could be with both her mothers. She did casually mention that Callie was single (and we are hoping ready to mingle!) Why not have these ladies return to the city where they first fell in love?
April Kepner
We will admit, we were not the biggest April fans when she showed up in season 6. However, we grew to love her during the 8 years she was on the series. Since she and Jackson have a connection with Harriet, it would be plausible for her to return to the show once she has completed the missionary type work God was calling her to perform.
