One Chicago: 5 Deaths We Still Aren't Over

Fans rejoiced when it was finally announced that One Chicago would be returning in the fall. That's right, Chicago Fire, Chicago PD, and Chicago Med will all be back on November 11th. During the hiatus, we have been watching old episodes of these awesome series. We still have not gotten over these 5 character's deaths. Have you?

Jason Wheeler - Chicago Med

Dr. Wheeler was by no means a main character, but the series was alluding to the fact that he could wind up being a recurring one. Dr. Wheeler's problems escalated rather quickly leading him to being drunk at work. Then suddenly, he decides to take his own life and we see how are favorite characters from Chicago Med cope with the loss.

Nadia DeCotis - Chicago PD

Nadia was a character on Chicago PD that was making a lot of change in the two seasons she appeared.. She had made the decision to become a cop like her role model Erin. Her life was cut short when she was abducted and killed. This death did give us a glorious crossover episode with Law and Order: Special Victims Unit.

Alvin Olinsky - Chicago PD

It has been several years since fans witnessed a death on Chicago PD. By the time season five concluded, we figured one of the cast would soon be losing their life. We were hoping that it wouldn't be fan-favorite Olinsky who would be killed off though. After going to jail, he was stabbed to death by one of his inmates. The remainder of the episode focuses on Voight seeking justice for his close friend.

Leslie Shay - Chicago Fire

Dawson has several partners during her stint at Firehouse 51. Though we love Brett, the relationship between Dawson and Shay was so sweet. We weren't expecting this death when it occurred in the first episode in season three. Luckily, we have had a few years to cope with the loss. And lucky for us, Lauren German is on Lucifer!

Brian "Otis" Zvonecek - Chicago Fire

This death hit us the hardest. Otis was a staple on Chicago Fire since the series began in 2012. It had been awhile since a major character perished, so we knew something was going to happen when the team was trapped in a fire at the conclusion of season 7. Otis passing away did provide a lot of storyline for Cruz, which was a welcomed change from so many Casey/Severide episodes.
