Happy Endings was one of the best comedies of the 2010's. Sadly, ABC did not think so and cancelled the awesome series at the conclusion of its third season. Fans were not provided a proper good-bye to the six friends from Chicago they had grown to love. A few years ago, the writer's Twitter account hinted at a reunion, but it was simply an April Fool's hoax. However, now we finally have that reunion.
The cast (Elisha Cuthbert, Adam Pally, Damon Wayans Jr., Eliza Coupe, Casey Wilson, and Zachary Knighton) returned via zoom to read a brand new episode. The cast is raising money for two organizations: Color of Change and World Central Kitchen. Once the episode entitled "And the Pandemmy Goes to..." concluded, the cast stuck around for a live Q and A session.
Of course, the episode centers on how the gang is handling the pandemic. Jane, always being prepared, is dressed in full-on hazmat suit while Max is stress eating. To clear up the reason why Jane and Brad are not in the same house, Brad announces he was on a business trip in Florida when the pandemic hit. Alex is now an Instagram DJ, Dave lost a ton of money in the Fyre Fest scam, and Penny is dating a doctor who knows everything about Corona.
