Christmas in July: 5 Classic Holiday Episodes to Check Out

It is hard to believe that Christmas is only five months away. We thought today would be an excellent day to beat the heat and stay inside watching some of your favorite TV shows. Check out these 5 Christmas themed episodes to get into the holiday spirit. Don't forget to have some egg nog while you watch!

The Office - Season 2 "Christmas Party"

There are seven Christmas themed episodes of The Office, but the second season one is our favorite. Michael hosts a Secret Santa event, but gets angry when all he gets is an oven mit from Phyllis when he bought Ryan an i-pod. The employees are now able to steal gifts from one another and Jim worries that Pam won't get the teapot he spent so much time on for her. In the end, she gets the teapot and the entire office gets drunk including Meredith flashing Michael.

Friends - Season 7 "The One with the Holiday Armadillo"

Though Friends is more know for its Thanksgiving episodes, we think this classic Christmas episode is a must watch. Ross wants to get Ben excited about Hanukkah and thinks dressing up like Santa may be a good way to educate him. Instead, he teaches shows up as a Armadillo, followed by Chandler dressed as Santa, and finally Joey appears as Superman.

The Simpsons - Season 1 "Simpsons Roasting on an Open Fire"

This classic episode is the very first episode of The Simpsons. Homer takes a second job as a mall Santa in order to make some extra cash for Christmas. When the end result is much less than he anticipated, he bets on it at the track only to lost it all. In the end, the family gets a new member when they bring Santa's Little Helper home with them.

Full House - Season 2 "Our Very First Christmas Show"

Christmas was always a special time in the Tanner household. This year, the Full House family is taking a trip to visit family (for some reason Joey is going too?), and young Stephanie is worried that Santa won't find them. They all get stranded in an airport (along with Becky) and try to make the most out of a bad situation. In the end, Santa finds them and leaves Stephanie a special message.

Schitt's Creek - Season 4 "Merry Christmas, Johnny Rose"

In Schitt's Creek six season run, there was only one Christmas episode. It is definitely a must see and great addition to this list. Johnny loves Christmas and wants to host a classic holiday soiree like the Rose's did in the past. It proves harder than he thought as the rest of the family have other plans. In the end, everyone comes together and shares a special song in the Rosebud hotel.
