Veteran TV personality Regis Philbin has passed away, according to a statement that was released by his family today. Philbin was 88 years old.
"We are deeply saddened to share that our beloved Regis Philbin passed away last night of natural causes. His family and friends are forever grateful for the time we got to spend with him -- for his warm, his legendary sense of humor, and his ability to make every day into something worth talking about," the statement read.
Philbin was most recently known for his hosting gig on Live with Regis and Kelly as well as Who Wants to be a Millionaire? He most recently appeared on a TV series Fresh Off the Boat and Single Parents.
